22/09 AINIA participates in the conference organised by CDTI “Dialogue on the technological capabilities of the meat sector between Spain and Brazil”

Partners from AINIA have presented the Red Tecnomifood during the “Dialogue on the technological capabilities of the meat sector between Spain and Brazil”, a conference organized by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), with the aim of promoting technological cooperation between entities of the meat and food sector of the two countries. The event was celebrated on Wednesday 22nd of September.

 

During the session, Begoña Ruiz, head of the Department of Biotechnology at AINIA, hgas presented the Red Tecnomifood as a reference project in the use, promotion and application of omic sciences in the development of functional foods and nutraceuticals.

 

The event included a first part in which the meat sector in Spain and in the State of Paraíba (Brazil) will be briefly exposed, as well as the technological capabilities of different Spanish companies.

 

The Red Tecnomifood has the participation of 5 technology centers: Eurecat, which coordinates the project, ANFACO-CECOPESCA, AZTI, AINIA and CNTA.
