
5/10 Spanish webinar «Functional foods that improve our microbiota» organised by CNTA
The National Centre for Food Technology and Safety (CNTA) organised a new Spanish webinar titled “Functional foods that improve our microbiota” which was celebrated as part of the Red Tecnomifood last Wednesday 5th of October.
The webinar presented the main novelties and latest trends in functional foods, especially foods with pre and probiotics that, due to their impact on the intestinal microbiota, offer a significant impact on strengthening the immune system.
On the other hand, during the event participants discussed about the most important aspects to effectively incorporate prebiotic and probiotic ingredients in a variety of foods and we discovered the experience of Quesos Cerrato, a company that has created a range of cured cheeses with probiotics.
The webinar was moderated by Estefanía Erro, Director of Marketing and Innovation at CNTA, and included the participation of representatives from the Quesos Cerrato company and the strategy, innovation and design consultant Lantern.
