How algae’s potential could make other ingredients green with envy

Abstract
Single-celled organisms can be grown anywhere, and with research and involvement in this topic from feeding associations, it could be the next big story in sustainability. As an ingredient, seaweed has several advantages, in addition to its sustainability it contains a large amount of nutrients, including omega-3s. On the other hand, pigments from microalgae have great potential as food colorants, which would displace artificial colorants on the market.
