The aim of this review was to examine how incorporating genetic information into nutritional advice and care, compared to an alternative intervention or a control group, affects dietary outcomes. From the analysis of the studies included in the review, no solid conclusions could be drawn and the need to continue collaborating with dietetic and nutrigenetics professionals is highlighted to prioritize which genetic variants and which targeted nutritional messages have the greatest potential for patients.
