Long-term substantial coffee consumption and risk of cholesterol and cardiovascular disease
Comments
Abstract
In a first worldwide genetic study, a group of researchers found that long-term excessive consumption of coffee (six or more cups a day) can increase the amount of lipids in the blood and significantly increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. This correlation is both positive and dose dependent, meaning that the more coffee you drink, the greater the risk of cardiovascular disease.
