Abstract

When the first draft of the human genome sequence was published in 2001, a world of possibilities emerged that revolutionized various areas of knowledge. Twenty years later, we face challenges such as achieving greater risk management in health by combining genetic information and lifestyle habits, or the generalization of personalized medicine.
