Abstract
A simulation model available online (Food4HealthyLife calculator) reveals how men and women could live about 10 years longer if they switched to a healthier diet that included more legumes, whole grains and nuts, and less red and processed meat. The new study, led by Lars T. Fadnes, a professor at the University of Bergen (Norway), has been published in the journal PLOS Medicine.
