Abstract

Central Lechera Asturiana together with five other Asturian institutions have launched the first study in the elderly population to discover the characteristics of the intestinal microbiota that facilitate healthy ageing.

Once the metagenome data of each of the individuals participating in the study are obtained, a biostatistical analysis will be carried out in order to identify the bacteria that are beneficial for enjoying healthy aging
