Abstract
This study has shown that including up to 3 daily servings of foods rich in polyphenols, such as apples, cocoa or dark chocolate, green tea, blueberries, oranges or pomegranate juice, improved intestinal permeability – a condition related to the development of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and even Alzheimer’s – by producing specific changes in your gut microbiota.
