Comments
Abstract
Researchers at the University of California San Diego have developed a non-invasive technology that may support dietary adherence and detect nutritional deficiencies by tracking vitamin C levels in perspiration. The device is a flexible C tattoo patch that can be applied to the user´s skin. It stimulates sweating and a sensor detect vitamin C levels in perspiration. The authors suggested that sensors offer potential for guiding personalized nutrition solutions.
